摘要

Abstract

Due to the collision of the Indian plate with the Eurasian Plate,the Nu River basin is characterized by intense tectonic activities and frequent geological hazards.Taking the middle reaches of the Nu River as the research area,we used an improved frequency ratio method(IF-RM)to evaluate the susceptibility of landslides.The main conclusions show that ① IFRM reduces the discontinuity of landslide susceptibility in-dex compared with traditional methods,and makes the evaluation of landslide susceptibility more efficient and accurate.②The extremely high/high susceptible zones of landslides are concentrated in the deep-cut areas of main stream and major tributaries of the Nu River,especially in the high mountain gorge areas,south of Basu.③Some of the extremely high/high susceptible zones are located in artificial impermeable surfaces and roads.The frequency of landslides increases significantly with the disturbances by engineering constructions.The susceptibility evaluation of landslides at a regional scale in the middle reaches of the Nu River is of great importance for landslide risk management.
