Abstract

ABS/TPU/Si3N4(ATS)and ABS/TPU/Si3N4/FG(ATSG)filled thermal conductive composite materials were prepared by melt blending and compression molding techniques,using acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS)and thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU)as matrices and silicon nitride(Si3N4)and graphite(FG)as thermal conductive fillers.The effects of Si3N4 and FG thermal conductive fillers on the thermal conductivity,mechanical properties,microstructure,thermal stability and rheological properties of composite materials were analyzed.The results indicated that with the increase of Si3N4 and FG contents,the thermal conductivity of the composite material increases and the thermal stability is significantly improved.When the dosages of Si3N4 and FG are 30%and 5 g,respectively,the thermal conductivity of the composite material reaches the highest of 0.53 W/(m·K),increased by 221.56%compared with ABS/TPU.Si3N4 and FG are stacked and in contact in the ABS/TPU matrix,forming a dense interconnected thermal conductivity network.The composite material has a clear plateau area with little change in storage modulus and loss modulus in the low-frequency oscillation region,indicating that a rheological permeation thermal conductivity network formed with this dosage,which improves the thermal conductivity of the composite material.
