摘要

Abstract

The knitting needle is the core executive component of the knitting mechanism of the circular weft machine,which rotates with the needle barrel during the weaving process,and realizes the yarn loop by doing the forced lifting movement along the arc surface of the triangular track,so as to complete the fabric weaving.In the weaving process,the main failure mode of the knitting needle is fatigue wear,and the wear position is mainly concentrated in the hook area.At present,high-carbon alloy steel is generally used as the base metal for knitting needles,and the material is modified by overall heat treatment and local surface strengthening process for wear-prone parts such as needle hooks,in order to improve the toughness and wear resistance of the knitting needle,so that the performance of the knitting needle can meet the service requirements.The failure of knitting needle wear causes great loss to the knitting industry,and it is of great value and significance to evaluate the wear of needle hook through physical simulation and scanning electron microscope imaging technology to im-prove the production process of knitting needles and their mechanical properties and use performance.
