Abstract

In order to explore the physiological and biochemical response mechanism of forage mulberry under salt-alkali stress,the 1-year Shenggui-109 hybrid forage mulberry was taken as the research object,and different salt-alkali stress treatments were carried out on forage mulberry seedlings by potted method,the difference of physiological indexes of forage mul-berry to different salt-alkali stress treatments was analyzed,and the mechanism of salt-alkali tolerance was explored.The results showed that the leaf morphology of forage mulberry seedlings was inhibited after salt and alkali stress treatment,and the inhibition was strength-ened with the increase of stress concentration.In addition,the physiological and biochemical indexes also showed different trends.Malondialdehyde content showed an increasing trend with the increase of salt and alkali concentration and the extension of stress duration.The malondialdehyde content of leaves treated with T0.1%and S0.2%showed a trend of first in-creasing and then decreasing with time,reaching a peak value on the 20th day of stress,and then decreased significantly.The contents of superoxide dismutase,peroxidase,catalase,proline and soluble protein increased first and then decreased.The experimental analysis showed that compared with salt stress,the membrane peroxidation damage was greater un-der mixed stress.Therefore,forage mulberry can resist salt-alkali stress mainly by accumu-lating osmotic regulatory substances and improving the activity of antioxidant enzyme sys-tem,among which the antioxidant enzyme system showed a phenomenon of"low promotion and high inhibition".
