Abstract

In order to improve the toughness,impact resistance,and thermal stability of polyvinyl chloride materials used in urban drainage pipelines,modified calcium carbonate and heat stabilizers were used as the main additives to modify polyvinyl chloride.Combined with titanium dioxide and other additives,a modified polyvinyl chloride material suitable for urban drainage pipelines was prepared.The influence of modified calcium carbonate dosage on the physical and mechanical properties of the material,as well as the influence of heat stabilizer type and dosage on the aging resistance of the material,were evaluated in detail.The results showed that as the amount of modified calcium carbonate increased,the tensile yield stress,fracture elongation,and Vicat softening temperature of the modified polyvinyl chloride material showed an increasing and then decreasing trend,while the true impact rate TIR value showed a decreasing and then increasing trend.When the mass fraction of modified calcium carbonate was 25%,the physical and mechanical properties of the modified polyvinyl chloride material can reach their optimum.The addition of heat stabilizer D can significantly improve the aging resistance of modified polyvinyl chloride materials.When the mass fraction of heat stabilizer D was 1.2%,the thermal stability time of modified polyvinyl chloride materials can reach 35.3 minutes,and the improvement effect of aging resistance was good.
