摘要
Abstract
To compare the effects of DBDPO/Sb2O3,APP/PER,and ATH flame retardants on the properties of SBS-modified asphalt and its mixtures, the study initially analyzed the flame retardancy and conventional properties of the three flame-retarded SBS-modified asphalts with various flame retardant dosages(3%,6%,9%,12%,15%).Subsequently,using SBS-modified asphalt mixtures as a control group,a series of laboratory tests were conducted to systematically evaluate the flame retardancy and road performance of the three flame-retarded asphalt mixtures. The results indicated that DBDPO/Sb2O3 provided the most effective flame retardancy for SBS-modified asphalt, while ATH significantly reduced the smoke emission level. All three flame retardants increased the viscosity and high-temperature stability of the asphalt to varying degree but compromised its low-temperature flexibility. In the mixture tests,ATH demonstrated superior flame-retardancy,smoke suppression, and high-temperature stability. The intumescent flame retardancy APP/PER has the least impact on low temperature properties, and the halogenated DBDPO/Sb2O3 has the smallest effect on the water stability of the asphalt mixtures.关键词
