Abstract
In accordance with the local legislation,the accident analysis should be conducted for the purpose of verifying the safety of the China Helium Cooled Ceramic Breeder Testing Blanket System(CN HCCB TBS)under accident scenarios.In this article,based on the preliminary design of the TBS,the Heat Exchanger Tube Rupture Accident is simulated with the utilization of RELAP5/MOD3.4.The results show that:1.The temperature of the first wall material increases significantly with a short duration,meeting the acceptance criteria.2.The pressure in the pipe on the heat exchanger 2nd side has a considerable increment,reaching 10 MPa.3.In the small break accident,the secondary cooling water flows into the primary loop of HCS reversely,resulting in the tritiated water.In order to reduce the pressure in pipes on 2nd side during the small break scenario,another simulation with the modified control logic is conducted and the results show that the increment of pressure becomes mild.Consequently,the coupling method is suggested in the further study to obtain the precise distributions on pressure and velocity,for the purpose of verifying the integrity of the heat exchanger during accident scenarios.关键词
