Abstract

Research has been conducted on the potential interference of LEO(low earth orbit)sa-tellites using X-band SAR(synthetic aperture radar)on China's ground-based radar system.On the basis of sorting out the International Telecommunication Union's recommendations and Ra-dio Regulations,an analysis method of the interference characteristic is proposed.The interfe-rence problems of specific LEO SAR satellite on ground-based meteorological radar and surface movement radar during the complete cycle are analyzed and calculated by means of theoretical analysis and interference simulation.The results of the research show that the proposed analysis method is representative and can effectively analyze the interference characteristic of SAR satellite on ground-based radar.Taking into account the radar deployment characteristic and satellite orbit characteristic,the SAR satellite with specified parameters do not cause serious interference to typical ground-based radars in the overlapping frequency bands.The analysis method,process and results provide a reference for the analysis of satellite-to-ground frequency compatibility in similar scenarios,help satellite engineering to determine parameters at the level of frequency planning and coordination,and are of reference significance to the pre-study and application of X-band SAR engineering.
