摘要

Abstract

The Hushan mining area of Muli coalfield contains multiple sections of fully minable coal seams with a large thickness,which have the basic conditions for coalbed methane accumulation.In order to understand the reservoir formation characteristics of coalbed methane in the area,combined with geological surveys,drilling,sample analysis and gas testing,this study aims to investigate the coal seam occurrence characteristics,coalbed methane controlling factors and reservoir formation modes in this area.The results show that the coal seam occurrence characteristics and the roof rock sealing performance are good in the Hushan mining area,the reservoir burial depth is favorable,and the gas content can reach up to 8.16 m3/t,which indicates a certain prospect for coalbed methane resources;Due to the influence of synclines and faults developed on both wings,the gas content of the coal seam in the southern wing is significantly higher than that in the northern wing;The hydraulic sealing and sealing effects of groundwater are obvious,and the inclined axis of coalbed methane enrichment is the focus of next research.
