Abstract
In recent years,multiple floods exceeding warning levels have occurred in the rivers of the Fuxin areas,causing severe damage to farmland and public infrastructure.This study focuses on the Raoyang River Basin and the Xi River Basin in the Fuxin areas of Liaoning Province.Using techniques such as Spline spatial interpolation,empirical forecasting models,and rainfall-runoff correlation analysis,the study examined flood estimation and forecasting for three flood events over the past two years.By reviewing these cases,the study identifies current issues in flood forecasting and proposes recommendations for improvement.These findings provide valuable insights for flood forecasting in western Liaoning and other arid and semi-arid regions.关键词
