Abstract
Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems(now Orbital ATK Inc.)is an important com-pany in the field of high orbit on-orbit servicing satellites,and its technology evolution path holds significant research value.First,a systematic overview of the high-orbit on-orbit servicing satel-lite systems developed by Orbital ATK at different stages is provided.Then,a comparative an-alysis of the relevant technologies and functions of each satellite is conducted.The development trajectory of technologies related to on-board navigation and space situational awareness is identi-fied for satellites such as MiTEx,ANGEL,and GSSAP.The EAGLE and LDPE series satellites in-novate the modular architecture of"host platform+multi-payload"through the application of the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle Secondary Payload Adapter(ESPA),a ring platform,forming a capability for rapid payload iteration and updates.The MEV satellite introduces a new paradigm for spacecraft life extension services.Finally,a summary of Orbital ATK's satellite development process is provided,offering insights for the future development of high-orbit on-orbit servicing satellites.关键词
