Da Vinci Xi robot-assisted inflatable mediastinoscopic esophagectomy:a case report(with surgical video)

Abstract
The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University conducted a Da Vinci Xi robot-assisted inflatable mediastinoscopic esophagectomy on July 1,2019.An old man with"progressive dysphagia for 2 months"arrived at the hospital.Electronic gastroscopy and biopsy were performed on the patient after admission,and the pathology revealed squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus.After completing the preoperative examination,robot-assisted inflatable mediastinoscopic esophagectomy was performed.The operation went smoothly,with a total operative time of 395 min and intraoperative blood loss of about 150 mL.The patient had a good postoperative recovery and was discharged from the hospital on the 6th day after surgery,with no complications such as hoarseness and anastomotic fistula within 1 month after surgery.关键词
