摘要
Abstract
Acne,a prevalent manifestation of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),represents the most concerning and stressful issue for patients. However, related research remains relatively limited.Through a review of literature in PubMed,Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),and Wanfang databases, this study concludes that modern medical practitioners attribute PCOS-related acne primarily to lung and kidney dysfunction with liver and spleen involvement. The therapeutic principles emphasize holistic regulation, syndrome differentiation, and personalized treatment.Treatment approaches include oral herbal formulas, topical washes, fumigation, ointments, acupuncture, and bloodletting cupping.Tailored to the condition and constitution of patients, treatment through traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)demonstrates significant clinical efficacy by adopting customized prescriptions combined with external therapies. With the advantages of a low recurrence rate and concurrent improvement in systemic symptoms like oligomenorrhea or amenorrhea,it deserves wider clinical application.关键词
