Feng Xiaochun's Experience in Treating Bronchiolitis from Perspective of"Lung Collaterals"
摘要
Abstract
Bronchiolitis is a common disease in infants that can be life-threatening in severe cases.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has demonstrated significant efficacy in treating bronchiolitis.This article summarized Professor Feng Xiaochun's experience in managing bronchiolitis from the perspective of"lung collaterals".Professor Feng proposed that bronchiolitis should be categorized as a wheezing disease primarily caused by wind pathogen invasion of the collaterals.The treatment principles focused on relieving spasm,calming wheezing,dispelling wind,detoxifying,and unblocking collaterals.The"lung collaterals"extend deeply within the lungs and reach outward to the body surface and interstices.A multidimensional treatment approach addressing both internal and external factors should be adopted to obtain significant efficacy,thereby providing new insights into TCM management of pediatric bronchiolitis.关键词
