Zheng Xueping's Experience in Treating Senile Functional Constipation with Qi-Yin Deficiency
摘要
Abstract
The prevalence of functional constipation in the elderly has been increasing in China,substantially impacting health and quality of life.To address the issue,the medical community has conducted extensive research.Chief physician Zheng Xueping,with over 30 years of clinical experience,proposes that senile functional constipation results from a dual deficiency of Qi and Yin,with pathogenesis rooted in Yang Qi dysfunction and body fluid depletion due to visceral senescence.His therapeutic strategy focuses on invigorating Qi and nourishing Yin,exemplified by his modified Zhizhu Sanren Decoction(derived from Zhizhu Pill)combined with acupoint application therapy.This integrated approach demonstrates remarkable clinical efficacy in managing constipation,deserving wider application.A representative case is presented for illustration.关键词
