Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of proximal femoral nail anti-rotation(PFNA)fixation on elderly femoral intertrochanteric fracture. Methods The 77 elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fractures were treated with PFNA fixation. The intraoperative bleeding volume, intraoperative quality of fracture reduction, surgical time, fracture healing time, and incidence of postoperative complications were recorded.Harris score was used to evaluate hip joint function. Results All patients were followed up for 6~18(11.96±2.72)months.The intraoperative bleeding was 50~300(125.58±80.27)ml,and during the surgery, there were 12 cases of anatomical reduction and 65 cases of functional reduction for fractures, the surgical time was 40~130(95.38±23.70)min.All fractures were healed, with a healing time of 10~18(13.95±1.83)weeks.There were no postoperative complications such as lower limb deep vein thrombosis, screw cutting or internal fixation fracture, and femoral head necrosis;one case developed hip varus deformity. At the last follow-up,Harris score was used to evaluate hip joint function:excellent in 37 cases, good in 31,fair in 7,and poor in 2,with an excellent-good rate of 88.3%.Conclusions The treatment of elderly femoral intertro-chanteric fracture with PFNA fixation has advantages such as less trauma, short surgical time, satisfactory fracture re-duction,fewer postoperative complications, and good recovery of hip joint function.关键词
