摘要

Abstract

Vibralactone is a natural product isolated from a fungus of the species Stereaceae to have a β-fused bicyclic lactone backbone structure.This compound is known to have a good inhibitory activity against the pancreatic lipase,indicating its potential value for development of a newtype obesity drug.It has attracted extensive attention from experts and scholars around the world because of its unique structural features and good biological activity.This paper summarizes the advances of research on the chemical structure and synthesis,biological activity and biosynthesis of vibralactone and its analogues as well.Basing on the current results and research foundation,we also carry out discussions together with future prospects in the development and application as well as potential technological breakthroughs of vibralactone biosynthesis in this review,which should provide available references for the drug exploration,chemical synthesis and biosynthesis of this substance and its derivatives.
