摘要

Abstract

The electronegative radio-frequency ion thruster,as a novel electric propulsion system,has become a research hotspot in the aerospace field due to its advantages of self-neutralization and no need for an external neutralizer.This paper reviews the research status and key simulation technologies of electronegative RF ion thrusters at home and abroad,focusing on the transport characteristics of plasma in the RF discharge chamber and the ion extraction characteristics of the dual-grid system.Based on the unique characteristics of electronegative propellant and the alternate acceleration of positive and negative ions,this paper also discusses the technical challenges in existing research and potential future research directions.This review provides theoretical foundations and technical references for the development of new,efficient electric propulsion systems.
