Modified ilioinguinal approach internal fixation for treatment of acetabular fracture of three-column classification type C2

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of modified ilioinguinal approach internal fixation in the treatment of acetabular fractures of three-column classification type C2.Methods The 26 patients with acetabular fractures of three-column classification type C2 were treated by modified ilioinguinal approach internal fixation.The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,and complications were recorded.The fracture reduction was evaluated by Matta scoring system,and the hip joint function was evaluated by modified Merle d'Aubigné-Postel score system.Results All pa-tients were followed up for 12～48(21.7±8.8)months.The operation time was 120～480(180.7±56.4)min;in-traoperative blood loss was 400～2 000(605.5±420.5)ml.The fracture reduction quality was evaluated using the Matta scoring system:excellent 10 cases,good 13,poor 3,with an excellent-good rate of 88.5％(23/26).No patient suffered sciatic nerve injury or ectopic ossification.At the last follow-up,the Merle d'Aubigné-Postel scores were 11～18(16.5±1.5)points,with excellent results in 9 cases,good results in 14 cases,fair 1 case,and poor 2 ca-ses,the excellent-good rate was 88.5％(23/26).Conclusions The modified ilioinguinal approach for reduction and internal fixation of acetabular fractures of three-column classification type C2 has satisfactory reduction,few postoper-ative complications,and reliable efficacy.关键词
