Abstract

Gasification reaction temperature and thermodynamic equilibrium are the main factors affecting fixed bed gasification reaction,when gasifier temperature is basically constant,the condition of thermodynamic equilibrium is particularly important.Simulation and optimization of gasification process based on BGL gasifier is of great signifi-cance for the design of gasifier and guiding industrial production.In order to gain a deeper understanding of the BGL gasifier gasification process,process parameter optimization and the optimal operating point is need to be done and found.Combined with the actual operation of BGL industrial gasifier device,an Excel model of steady-state gasifica-tion of BGL gasifier was built based on mass balance and energy balance calculation.The composition and design val-ues of the gas were simulated and compared with the actual operating values.The error between the two was within±3%,thus proving the accuracy of the BGL thermodynamic model.Based on the BGL thermodynamic model,the main parameters of the coal gasification process was optimized.The investigation results indicate that the oxygen coal ratio and steam coal ratio have an impact on the efficiency,coal consumption,and oxygen consumption of crude syn-thesis gas and cold coal gas.Specifically,when the coal feeding rate is 38 t/h and the oxygen flow rate is 11 000 Nm3/h,the optimal ratio of steam to coal is 0.29,and the optimal flow rate of steam is 11 000 kg/h.Under these operating conditions,the influence of CO2 return flow rate on the gasifier was also investigated.As the CO2 re-turn flow rate increased,the CO content gradually increased,while the H2 and CH4 contents decreased.However,the effective gas(CO+H2+CH4)flow rate showed a gradually increasing trend.
