The relationship between hs-cTnT,thyroid function,and short-term prognosis in patients with acute coronary syndrome after PCI

Abstract
Aim To investigate the relationship between high sensitivity cardiac troponin T(hs-cTnT),thyroid function and short-term prognosis of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods A total of 154 ACS patients from our hospital were selected as the observation group,while 100 patients admitted due to chest pain or tightness but no stenosis observed on coronary angiography were selected as the control group.The differences in hs-cTnT and thyroid function indicators were compared between groups,and the differences among ACS patients with different ages,genders and prognoses were analyzed.Results The observation group had higher hs-cTnT(P＜0.05)and lower free triiodothyronine(FT3)and triiodo-thyronine(T3)levels(P＜0.05)compared with the control group.In the observation group,acute myocardial infarction(AMI)pa-tients showed higher hs-cTnT(P＜0.05)and lower FT3 and T3 levels(P＜0.05)than unstable angina pectoris(UAP)patients.Pa-tients in poor prognosis had higher age and Gensini scores(P＜0.05),elevated hs-cTnT(P＜0.05),and lower FT3(P＜0.05)than those with good prognosis.Logistic regression analysis showed that age,Gensini score,hs-cTnT and FT3 were influencing factors for poor prognosis(P＜0.05).Conclusion hs-cTnT and thyroid function indicator FT3 are influencing factors for short-term prognosis of PCI in ACS patients,which deserve clinical attention.关键词
