摘要

Abstract

With the large-scale integration of renewable energy into the grid,its inherent randomness and volatility pose severe challenges to the security and stability of the power system.Energy storage systems,leveraging their rapid response characteristics and high flexibility,have emerged as an effective means to compensate for the shortcomings of renewable energy and participate in primary frequency regulation to enhance system frequency stability.However,traditional strategies for energy storage participation in power system frequency regulation rely heavily on parameter tuning,lacking sufficient adaptability and dynamic adjustment capabilities.To address these issues,this paper proposes a control strategy for energy storage systems to participate in primary frequency regulation based on model predictive control(MPC).Firstly,a frequency response prediction model of the power system including energy storage systems is established,and on this basis,a predictive control model for primary frequency regulation of energy storage is constructed.This model aims to minimize grid frequency deviations and optimize energy storage output,while fully considering the constraints on energy storage output.By controlling the active output of the energy storage system,it actively participates in the system's frequency regulation process,and adopts a rolling optimization approach to continuously solve for the optimal output of the energy storage,achieving more superior frequency regulation results.The proposed predictive model can comprehensively consider the state information of the entire power system in real-time,eliminating the need for tedious and repeated parameter adjustments.While ensuring the safe operation of the energy storage system,it effectively improves frequency regulation capabilities and reduces losses during the regulation process.Finally,the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed frequency regulation strategy are verified through actual case studies.
