摘要

Abstract

In view of the effect of welding residual stress on the bearing capacity and service performance of welding structure,the effect of ultrasonic impact and process parameter optimization on reducing residual stress was investigated,and the numerical simulation of residual stress of welded joints for thin-walled parts of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and the variation law of mechanical properties were analyzed.Considering the influence of different ultrasonic impact process parameters such as impact frequency,amplitude,and impact velocity on welding residual stress,a predictive relationship model was established with residual stress after impact as the optimization objective.Based on the particle swarm optimization algorithm,the optimal impact process parameters were obtained.What is more,the tensile tests,hardness tests,and electron backscattering diffraction tests were conducted on T-welded joint specimens to reveal the influence of ultrasonic impact on their mechanical properties.The results show that the optimal ultrasonic impact process parameters are obtained with the established predictive relationship model,with a correlation coefficient R2 of 0.99,and the accuracy of the predictive relationship model is effectively verified.Moreover,comparing with the results before ultrasonic impact treatment,the average residual stress and maximum grain size respectively decrease by about 32%and 17%,and the maximum hardness value increases by about 43%.The ultrasonic impact treatment can effectively improve the hardness in welded joints and refine the microstructure grain of weld,which will provide a theoretical analysis basis for improving the service performance of large-scale welding structure of thin-walled parts in the future.
