Abstract

Field plot experiments were conducted to explore the effects of complete replacement of chemical fertilizer with organic fertilizer on the yield,quality,disease and pest incidence of capsicums and the physicochemical properties of soil.Four treatments were designed,including pure chemical fertilizer(CK),organic fertilizer 1,organic fertilizer 2,and organic fertilizer 3.The yield,soluble sugar content,soluble protein content,nitrate content,and disease and pest incidence of capsicums and the physicochemical properties of soil were determined.The results showed that compared with CK,organic fertilizers increased the yield,soluble sugar content,and soluble protein content of capsicums by 37.76%-42.54%,38.10%-51.07%,and 20.03%-25.29%,respectively,while decreasing the nitrate content by 8.47%-24.37%.However,the effect of organic fertilizer on reducing the incidence of diseases and pests was not obvious.Soil organic matter and alkali-hydrolyzed nitrogen were increased by 9.72%-11.74%and 2.68%-10.04%,respectively.The complete replacement of chemical fertilizer with organic fertilizer improved the yield and quality of capsicums and the physicochemical properties of soil,and organic fertilizer 3(1.99%N,2.29%P2O5,1.36%K2O,and 25.76%moisture)had the best effect.
