摘要

Abstract

To address the challenges of managing numerous and widely-distributed network devices in local area networks,the methods and processes of manually monitoring network devices are analyzed.Python programming library and the principle of Simple Network Management Protocol(SNMP)are used to develop a LAN device offline detection method which automatically monitors network devices at scheduled intervals and sends email alerts to administrators upon detecting offline devices,enabling timely fault resolution.The operational results confirm that the method meets the monitoring requirements during operation and maintenance while improving the efficiency of emergency response to network failures.
