摘要

Abstract

In order to determine the efficacy and crop safety of 33%terbuthylazine·isoxaflutole suspension concentrate(SC)applied in early post-emergence(POST)for controlling annual weeds in corn field,field trialswere conducted using random block design method.The results showed that POST application of terbuthylazine·isoxaflutole 33%SC at 3-leaf stage of both corn and weed effectively controlledkey annual weed species such as Digitaria sanguinalis,Eleusine indica,and Amaranthus retroflexus.At the application rates of 594,742.5,891 and 1485 g active ingredient(a.i.)/hm2,overall control efficacy at 14 days after treatmentwas 85.7%,90.4%,95.3%and 100%,respectively.At 28 days after treatment,efficacy was 83.5%,88.8%,92.7%and 98.0%,respectively.Fresh weight control efficacy was 85.2%,89.6%,94.5%and 98.6%,respectively.The herbicide showed good crop safety for the tested corn variety"Denghai 605".Therefore,terbuthylazine·isoxaflutole 33%SC is one of promising candidate herbicides for early POST control of annual weeds in corn field,with a recommended application rates of 742.5~891 g a.i./hm2.
