Study of characteristic boundary conditions for the lattice Boltzmann shallow water model
摘要
Abstract
The lattice Boltzmann numerical model for the two-dimensional shallow water equations was established,and characteristic boundary conditions without reflection were introduced into the model for the first time.The lattice Boltzmann shallow water model and its characteristic boundary conditions were validated by using one-dimensional dam break wave and two-dimensional Gaussian source water wave.The numerical model was applied to simulate flow around a two-dimensional square cylinder.The results show that the lattice Boltzmann shallow water model accurately simulates the propagation process of one-dimensional dam break wave,and the introduced characteristic boundary conditions effectively eliminate non-physical reflected waves generated by the calculation domain's boundaries.The stability and accuracy of lattice Boltzmann shallow-water model are improved.关键词
