Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of lower limb rehabilitation robot assisted walking function training combined with orally traditional Chinese medicine on the improvement of lower limb surface electromyography signal and walking function in patients with incomplete spinal cord injury(SCI).Methods:A total of 42 patients with incomplete SCI treated in Zhejiang Rehabilitation Medical Center from March 2023 to January 2024 were selected,and they were randomly divided into group A and group B,with 21 cases each.Group A was treated with Buyang Huanwu decoction combined with lower limb rehabilitation robot assisted walking function training,group B was treated with conventional walking function training.Both groups were treated for 12 weeks.The surface EMG data,walking speed,walking function,motor function and balance ability of the two groups were compared.Results:After treatment,the surface EMG data of femoris rectus,tibialis anterior muscle and gastrocnemius muscle in group A were higher than those in group B,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the 10-meter walking test time in group A was shorter than that in group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,Holden walking function classification in group A was better than that in group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of motor function assessment items in American SCI Association injury scale in group A were higher than those in group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the Berg Balance Scale score of group A was higher than that of group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was 9.52%and 0.00%,respectively,with no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with lower limb rehabilitation robot assisted walking function training can improve the lower limb walking ability of patients with incomplete SCI,and the rehabilitation effect is better than that of conventional walking function training,which has application value.
