摘要
Abstract
This study aims to explore the effects of amino-oligosaccharin and various exogenous substances on sorghum seed germination, seedling morphology, and physiological characteristics under low-temperature conditions, this study used the sorghum variety'Red Tassel'is used as the research material.Soaking and hydroponic methods are employed to investigate the impact of amino-oligosaccharides(AS)combined with different concentrations of sodium nitroprusside(SNP),γ-aminobutyric acid(GABA),and salicylic acid(SA)on sorghum seed germination, seedling height, root length, basal stem diameter, fresh and dry shoot weight, fresh and dry root weight, enzyme activity, and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters. The findings are as follows:Soaking with 0.70 mmol/L AS+0.60 mmol/L GABA yields the best results for seed germination, while 0.70 mmol/LAS+0.25 mmol/L SA inhibits germination.Soaking with 0.70 mmol/L AS+0.03 mmol/L SNP and 0.70 mmol/L AS+0.50 mmol/L SA promoted seedling growth.Soaking with 0.70 mmol/L AS+0.03 mmol/L SNP and 0.70 mmol/L AS+0.60 mmol/L GABA enhances sorghum cold tolerance. In conclusion,0.70 mmol/LAS+0.03 mmol/LSNP is the optimum concentration for seed dipping.Hydroponic treatment with 3.0 mmol/L AS+1.0 mmol/L GABA shows the best results for promoting seedling growth. These findings provide a theoretical basis for the development of seed treatment agents to enhance seed germination, seedling growth, and cold tolerance in sorghum.关键词
