基于GSH/GPX4 信号通路探讨中医药防治糖尿病周围神经病变的研究进展
Research Progress on Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy Based on GSH/GPX4 Signaling Pathway

Abstract
Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is the most common complication of diabetes,clinically characterized by limb numbness,pain and swelling.In the later stages,it can involve motor nerves,leading to muscle weakness,atrophy and pa-ralysis,severely impacting the quality of life of patients.There is a wide variety of pharmacological treatments in Western medi-cine,but no radical cure has been discovered yet.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has unique advantages in alleviating symptoms and delaying disease progression.Recent studies have found a close relationship between the GSH/GPX4 signaling pathway and the occurrence of DPN.This article explored the pathogenesis of DPN,the relationship between the GSH/GPX4 sig-naling pathway and DPN,as well as the research advancements in this field,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the TCM treatment of DPN and the development of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs.关键词
