Abstract
Objective:To translate the Patient Participation Scale(PPS)into Chinese,and to test its validity and reliability.Methods:According to the Brislin translation model,the English version of PPS was translated,back translated and culturally adapted to form the Chinese version of PPS.A total of 520 patients treated in a tertiary grade A hospital in Taiyuan from December 2023 to April 2024,were selected by convenience sampling method to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of PPS.Results:The Chinese version of PPS included 4 dimensions and 21 items.The item-level content validity index(I-CVI)ranged from 0.80 to 1.00.The universal agreement of scale-level content validity index(S-CVI/UA)was 0.81.And the average scale-level content validity index(S-CVI/Ave)was 0.96.Exploratory factor analysis extracted four common factor with eigenvalue≥1.The cumulative contribution rate of variance was 66.100％.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fitted well.The total Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.929.And the retest reliability coefficient was 0.891.Conclusions:The Chinese version of PPS had good reliability and validity,and it could be used as an evaluation tool for patient participation of health care in China.关键词
