Abstract
As one of the Four Treasures of the Study,porcelain pen holders possess cultural connotations,artistic apprecia-tion,and practical value.During the Ming dynasties,it became one of the indispensable cultural relics in the lives of literati.Influenced by the special social system,aesthetic trends,and the integration of foreign cultures in the Ming Dynasty,its decorative patterns exhibited distinctive development characteristics.This article aims to explore the artistic features and cultural value of the decorative patterns on ceramic pen barrels in the Ming Dynasty.Analyzed the themes,styles,and symbolic meanings of the decorative patterns on Ming Dynasty porcelain pen barrels,revealed the connection between the patterns and social and cultural backgrounds,and explored the influence of these patterns on modern ceramic art.关键词
