Chinese Medicine Monomers Regulate AMP-activated Protein Kinase Pathway in the Prevention and Treatment of Sepsis:A Review
摘要
Abstract
Sepsis is a systemic inflammatory response syndrome caused by infection.The AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)signaling pathway plays a role in the development of sepsis by regulating inflammation,improving mitochondrial function,modula-ting autophagy,inhibiting cell apoptosis,and regulating metabolism.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has unique advantages in treating sepsis,one of which is its ability to regulate the AMPK signaling pathway through multiple pathways,effects,and targets.Chinese medicine monomers that prevent and treat sepsis via the AMPK signaling pathway include flavonoids(kaempferol,querce-tin,luteolin,isoquercitrin,puerarin,naringenin,and maackiain),phenols(curcumin,proanthocyanidins,rhodioloside,malvidin,and dehydroxylcurcumin),polysaccharides(astragalus polysaccharide),terpenoids(betulinic acid,nerolidol,artemisinin,and artesu-nate),lactones(atractylenolide Ⅲ),alkaloids(lycorine),glycosides(ginsenoside Rg3 and gardenoside),and lignans(sesamin and matairesinol).These monomers can activate or inhibit the AMPK signaling pathway,thereby affecting inflammation,cell apoptosis,and oxidative stress to prevent and treat sepsis.关键词
