数字基础设施是否有利于提升出口技术复杂度?
Is digital infrastructure conducive to enhancing export technological complexity?:an empirical test based on national level data

Abstract
Digital infrastructure is pivotal in supporting the ongoing development of a nation's digital economy and profoundly influences the continual refinement of the international trade ex-port structure.Utilizing the panel data from 92 countries worldwide over the period from 2011 to 2021,a fixed-effects model is employed to empirically examine the impact of digital infrastructure on a country's export technological complexity,as well as to explore its operational mechanisms and heterogeneity.The findings reveal that digital infrastructure significantly enhances the tech-nological complexity of exports,a conclusion consistently supported by various robustness and endogeneity tests,although the effect is somewhat diminished at higher quantiles of export tech-nological complexity.The influence operates by the three primary mechanisms:reducing trade costs,enhancing technological innovation capabilities and improving labor productivity,thereby fostering an increase in export technological complexity.The impact of digital infrastructure on export technological complexity exhibits heterogeneity,being particularly pronounced in coun-tries with middle to low incomes,high institutional quality and advanced financial development.Based on this,efforts should be increased to build digital infrastructure in order to reduce trade costs,enhance technological innovation capabilities and improve labor productivity,thereby in-creasing the technological complexity of exports,promoting the continuous optimization of trade structure and formulating differentiated policies according to the development characteristics of different regions to maximize their economic potential and accelerate the improvement of export technological complexity.关键词
