Language and Practice:The Metaphysical Dimension in Gadamer's Hermeneutics
摘要
Abstract
In Gadammer's philosophy-hermeneutics,language as the possibility of every being can fulfill the ontological promise of being.After having the ontological promise of language,Gadamer regards"practice"as a vital"doctrine"that is directly related to the"practical wisdom"of each being to realize its own value of life.The objectivity of hermeneutic truth is based on the connection between practical philosophy and poetic art.It is only through language and participation in the events of the community that man can share and pass on the truth of history,and in the complete structure of the loss-nous-ethos,practical wisdom can reveal its own purpose.The application of realistic language responds to the"universal"truth problem of hermeneutics and the"practice-ethical"turn in the context of"cross-cultural"dialogue.Thus,when the language of reality is oriented towards"ethics",its metaphysical dimension of"truth"turns to the experience of the whole"life world".关键词
