摘要

Abstract

It is difficult to estimate the echo transit time of weak ultrasonic detection signals in ultrasonic non-destructive testing,so a method for the ultrasonic detection signal transit time parameter estimating based on the multi-verse optimization(MVO)algorithm is proposed.A Gaussian convolution model of the ultrasonic signals was established,and the problem of transit time parameter estimation was transformed into a function optimization problem.And then,the MVO algorithm was applied to solve the objective function,thereby achieving accurate estimation of the transit time parameters.The simulation and experimental results show that the mean square error(MSE)and estimated signal-to-noise ratio(ESNR)of the proposed method for estimating parameters of weak ultrasonic detection signals with an SNR of-10 dB were 0.000 3 and 7.824 1,respectively.This processing result is significantly superior to those obtained with wavelet transform and empirical mode decomposition(EMD)methods,which can realize accurate estimation of the transit time parameters.
