摘要

Abstract

Taking a closed gold mine tailings pond in Longnan,Gansu Province as the research object,this study analyzed and evaluated the content characteristics,pollution levels,ecological risks,and health risks of 8 heavy metal elements in 36 soil samples in the study area from different stacking times and soil depths.The results indicate that soil pollution in the study area is mainly caused by As,Cd and Hg.As is mainly free to moderate pollution,Cd is mainly moderate pollution,and Hg is mainly extremely heavy pollution.The tailings pond as a whole shows an extremely heavy pollution level.80.5%of the As points in the research area show low ecological risk,66.7%of the Cd points show high ecological risk,100%of the Hg points show extremely high ecological risk,and the overall ecological risk of the tailings pond is extremely high risk.The heavy metals in the soil of the research area pose both carcinogenic and non carcinogenic risks to both adults and children.The main exposure pathways for carcinogenic risk are oral ingestion and skin contact,with the main contributing elements being As,Cd,and Cr.The main exposure pathway for non carcinogenic risks is oral ingestion,with the main contributing elements being As and Hg.
