Abstract

High mountain tea is usually produced on tea mountains with an altitude of over 800 meters.The Bomi high mountain tea garden is located at an altitude of about 2 200-2 850 meters.The high altitude,sufficient sunlight,and large temperature difference day and night are conducive to the storage of nutrients.The fertile soil,abundant rainfall,and frequent clouds and fogs in the tea tree growth environment lead to weakening of light intensity and the increase of diffuse light,which is conducive to the growth of tea trees and the accumulation of nu-trients.However,the tea trees in Bomi high mountain tea garden are prone to low temperature weather during the winter,which lasts for a long time,leading to the destruction of the physiological functions of tea trees,abnormal growth,and frost damage,severely affecting the tea yield and economic benefits.This paper focuses on the frost damage problem encountered by the high mountain garden in Bomi County during winter.Through extensive investigation,careful analysis and research,and summarization of experience,a set of key technologies for frost prevention in high mountain tea gardens has been formed.This will play a positive role in improving the yield of high mountain tea gardens,increasing the income of tea farmers,enhancing the tea materials and quality,and promoting the high-quality development of the Bomi tea in-dustry.
