摘要

Abstract

On October 11,2024,an emergency epidemiological survey was conducted at a raccoon dog breeding farm in Tangshan to determine the cause,analyze the source,and assess the risk of transmission.The investigation found that there were a total of 2 000 commercial raccoons in the area,with 981 cases and 305 deaths,resulting in a mortality rate of 31.1%.After on-site investigation,autopsy of deceased raccoon dogs,laboratory testing,and confirmation of intervention treatment effects,it is comprehensively determined that the outbreak was caused by a mixed infection of pseudo Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus dysgalactiae from raccoon dogs,and the strains developed drug resistance,leading to the outbreak of the disease.The occurrence of the epidemic is related to risk factors such as purchasing goods such as raccoons,cages,and feces outside the venue that have not been disinfected or disinfected in a timely manner,contamination of feed,and blind use of antibiotics for treatment.Targeted prevention and control measures were proposed based on on-site risk factors,and the epidemic was effectively controlled.
