Innovative Design and Application of Yak Production Facilities and Equipment in Alpine Pastoral Areas

Abstract
To address the issues of outdated and single-function facilities and equipment in yak production in alpine pastoral areas,this paper focuses on the design and application of four innovative yak production facilities and equipment.These include a multifunctional alley pen,an automatic restraining device,an artificial insemination support frame,and a mobile milking machine for yaks and yak hybrids.The multifunctional alley pen adopts an arc-shaped alley design and is equipped with multiple sub-holding pens,meeting various functions such as production performance testing,grading and grouping,and disease prevention.The automatic restraining device uses an electronic control system to automatically secure the animal,facilitating operations such as physical examinations and treatments.The artificial insemination support frame is lightweight and safe,effectively improving breeding success rates.The mobile milking machine for yaks and yak hybrids features a dual-power supply design and is equipped with specialized milking cups,significantly enhancing milking efficiency and hygiene quality.The innovative application of these facilities and equipment provides critical support for improving the production efficiency and modernization of yak production in alpine pastoral areas.关键词
