摘要

Abstract

To investigate the influence of natural microbial biofilms on the settlement and metamorphosis of sea cu-cumber Apostichopus japonicus larvae,we analyzed variations in dry weight,density of attached bacteria,species composition,diversity and community structure of natural microbial biofilms at different ages,as well as their corre-lation with settlement selectivity and metamorphosis rate.According to the results of 16S rRNA sequencing,the community structures of microbial films varied significantly with age,and the richness and diversity of bacterial spe-cies increased dramatically with age.As biofilms matured,both the quantity and variety of bacterial species in-creased.Correlation analysis indicated a strong positive relationship(P<0.01)between settlement selectivity rates and metrics of species richness,diversity,and bacterial density.Conversely,the metamorphosis rate exhibited a significant positive correlation(P<0.05)only with indicators of species richness.These findings suggest that the age,diversity of species,and composition of the biofilm community play a significant role in influencing the settle-ment and metamorphosis processes of A.japonicus.This research provides a theoretical foundation for understand-ing the regulatory mechanisms of sea cucumber settlement and metamorphosis,as well as for advancing the cultiva-tion of high-quality seedlings.
