摘要

Abstract

Computational electromagnetics(CEM)is an interdisciplinary field that integrates electromagnetism,mathematics,and computer science.It is dedicated to exploring the interaction between electromagnetic waves and materials in digital space,helping people better understand the laws governing the behavior of electromagnetic waves.It has extensive and significant applications in various fields such as antenna design,microwave engineering,radar systems,and electromagnetic compatibility.However,with the diversification of electromagnetic target structures and the complexity of electromagnetic design processes,traditional CEM faces numerous challenges,including insufficient computational speed,accuracy,and capability.In recent years,the rise of artificial intelligence in scientific computing has introduced a new paradigm for scientific research,promoting the rapid development and practical application of intelligent computational electromagnetics.This paper first introduces the basic concepts of intelligent computational electromagnetics in details and focus on discussing three intelligent electromagnetic computation paradigms:forward computation,inverse computation,and forward-inverse bidirectional computation.Subsequently,the intelligent design optimization of metamaterials is used as an example to demonstrate the unique advantages of intelligent computational electromagnetics in solving optimization problems of electromagnetic devices.The development of intelligent computational electromagnetics not only complements traditional CEM well but also helps people develop more efficient,intelligent,and powerful electromagnetic computation capabilities.It provides a powerful design tool and an intelligent analysis platform for the development of next-generation advanced electromagnetic devices and systems.
