Abstract

As the core control tool of the International Alliance for Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemi-cals,the ZDHC MRSL(Manufacturing Restricted Substances List)aims to reduce the residue and discharge of hazardous substances in the supply chain of the textile,leather and other industries through source control.However,in the process of implementation,it faces the challenge of low standardization of detection meth-ods.In the current ZDHC MRSL version 3.1,only 20 of the 41 tests(inspections)have recommended meth-ods,and almost all of them are for the final product rather than the dyestuffs and auxiliaries.Due to the lack of sample pretreatment conditions for dyestuffs and auxiliaries,it is difficult to compare test results between different laboratories.China has established a very complete standard system for the detection of harmful sub-stances in dyestuffs and auxiliaries,which can cover most of the items in ZDHC MRSL,and the technology is mature and internationally leading.By adopting Chinese standards,it can not only make up for the lack of stan-dardization of ZDHC MRSL's existing testing methods,improve the scientificity and reliability of compliance evaluation,but also improve the internationalization level of Chinese standards and provide Chinese solutions for the development of global green supply chains.Suggestions were also put forward for the detection of four carcinogenic aromatic amine salts.
