Implications and Contemporary Enlightenment of Engels'Thought on Marriage Ethics:The Textual Interpretation Based on The Origin of the Family,Private Property and the State
摘要
Abstract
The Origin of the Family,Private Property and the State(hereinafter referred to as"The Origin")is a seminal text of Marxist materialist historiography,as well as Engels'most profound exploration of marriage ethics.Utilizing a materialist conception of history as the fundamental perspective and the theory of human liberation as the theoretical cornerstone,Engels delves into the laws of the development of marriage ethics from three dimensions of economy,politics,and culture,unveiling its triple attributes and providing a scientific ethical basis for future generations to establish,maintain,and dissolve marriage relationships.This groundbreaking work continues to be of enlightening and illuminating significance right up to the present day.In the context of the ongoing decline in marriage rates and the increasing prevalence of divorce,it is imperative for individuals who are entering or considering marriage to draw upon this wisdom and further refine their understanding of the subject.It is crucial that individuals develop the capacity to regulate love within the framework of passion and reason,to coexist harmoniously within the unity of power and obligation,and to fulfil each other within the unity of possession and release.This approach,as outlined by Engels,is instrumental in liberating individuals,harmonizing familial relationships,and contributing to the betterment of society.关键词
