The Relationship Between Appearance-Related Negative Comments Perception and Suicide Status of College Students

Abstract
Objective:To analyzes the effect of appearance-related negative comments perception(ARNCP)on college students'suicide status(SS)through appearance self-disgust(ASD),and the moderating effect of appearance-contingencies of self-worth(ACSW)and cherish life responsibility behavior(CLRB).Methods:2059 college students were tested with the appearance-related negative comments perception scale,appearance self-disgust scale,suicide status scale,appearance-contingencies of self-worth scale and cherish life responsibility behavior scale.Results:(1)ACSW moderated the first half and direct path of mediation model of ASD;(2)CLRB moderated the second half and direct path.Conclusion:There was a moderated mediating effect between appearance-related negative comments perception and college students'suicide status.关键词
