The Relationship between Psychopathy and Online Trolling:The Longitudinal Mediating Effect of Perceived Social Support and Social Network Addiction

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship between psychopathy and online trolling and the longitudinal me-diating mechanism of perceived social support and social network addiction.Methods:501 college students were followed up three times longitudinally in six months using scales of psychopathy,perceived social support,social network addiction and online trolling.Results:Psychopathy positively predicted individual online trolling.Social network addiction played a longitudinal mediating role between psychopathy and online trolling,and perceived social support and social network addic-tion played a longitudinally sequential mediating role between psychopathy and online trolling.Conclusion:Psychopathy may exacerbate individual online trolling by reducing perceived social support and increasing social network addiction.关键词
