Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of Liuwei Dihuang Decoction combined with epidermal stem cell exosomes in the treatment of melasma.Methods A total of 120 patients with melasma admitted to Xi'an Haitang Traditional Chinese Medicine Cosmetology Hospital from January 2022 to September 2023 were selected.The patients were divided into control group and observation group with 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with epidermal stem cell exosomes,and the observation group was treated with Liuwei Dihuang Decoction combined with epidermal stem cell exosomes.The clinical efficacy,melasma severity index(MASI),skin area,quality of life and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the control group(83.33%),the total clinical effective rate of the observation group(98.33%)was higher,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).After treatment,the MASI score in the observation group(4.13±0.78)was lower than that in the control group(5.99±1.10),which was statistically significant(P＜0.001).After treatment,the skin area of observation group(1.96±0.43)cm2 was smaller than that of control group(2.83±0.62)cm2,which was statistically significant(P＜0.001).After treatment,the quality of life of the observation group(Dermatosis life quality index,DLQI;Melasma quality of life score,MELA-SQOL)was better than that of the control group,and the comparison was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The recurrence rate of observation group(1.67%)was lower than that of control group(16.67%)(P＜0.05).Conclusion Liuwei Dihuang Decoction combined with epidermal stem cell exosome in the treatment of melasma can help improve the symptoms of melasma and quality of life,reduce the area of skin lesions,and has significant clinical efficacy,which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
