The Effects of Effort-Reward Imbalance on Mental Health Among University Counselors:A Moderated Mediating Model
摘要
Abstract
Based on the Effort-Reward Imbalance Model(ERI),this study explores the relationship between effort-reward imbalance and mental health among university counselors, with a focus on the mediating role of perceived organizational support and the moderating role of over-commitment.A total of 394 university counselors were recruited to complete the Effort-Reward Imbalance Scale, the Perceived Organizational Support Scale, and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales. The results indicated that:(1)There is a significant positive correlation between effort-reward imbalance and negative emotions among university counselors;(2)In the mediation model, perceived organizational support plays a partial mediating role between effort-reward imbalance and negative emotions among university counselors;(3)In the moderated mediating model,over-commitment moderates both the direct path and the mediation process between effort-reward imbalance and negative emotions. This study reveals the mechanism by which effort-reward imbalance affects the mental health of university counselors, identifying perceived organizational support as a protective factor and over-commitment as a buffering factor. These findings have significant implications for enhancing the mental health of university counselors and effectively motivating their work enthusiasm.关键词
