摘要
Abstract
Acne,a globally prevalent chronic inflammatory skin disease, primarily affects adolescents. Its pathogenesis involves multiple factors, including excessive sebum production,Propionibacterium acnes colonization, abnormal pilosebaceous duct keratinization, and inflammatory responses.Treatment varies according to the severity of acne, ranging from topical medications for mild to moderate cases to systemic treatment for moderate to severe cases.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)offers a different understanding and approach to acne treatment than modern medicine, linking it to wind-heat obstruction and blood heat stagnation.TCM employs a variety of treatment methods for acne, including oral administration of herbal medicine(such as decoctions and patent medicines),external treatments(including wet compresses, topical applications, fumigation, and acupoint plaster therapy),and acupuncture techniques(such as blood-letting,cupping,acupoint injection, threading, and auricular therapy).A distinctive feature of TCM in treating acne is syndrome differentiation and treatment, which involves personalized therapy based on the patient's constitution and symptoms, resulting in significant effectiveness, minimal side effects, and a low recurrence rate. This review aims to comprehensively explore the etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment methods of acne, especially the application of TCM in acne treatment, providing a comprehensive reference for clinical therapy.关键词
