Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]In the realm of international communication,think tanks play a crucial role in leveraging national soft power through their inherent resources,serving as an"anchoring force".Mean-while,interaction among think tanks help mitigate strategic misjudgments and build international consensus,functioning as a"dispersing force".Think tank exchanges not only contribute to national security and global gov-ernance but also play a vital role in"Track Ⅱ diplomacy"by providing strategic insights and policy recommen-dations that influence interstate relations and global issue resolution.This study aims to enhance the role of think tanks in national security and improve their international communication capabilities,thereby advancing their global interaction.[Method/Process]By utilizing interdisciplinary methods and grounded in the interactive ritual chain theory,this study examines dialogues and exchanges between the Center for China and Globalization(CCG)and American counterparts since 2017.It identifies CCG's interaction patterns in U.S.exchanges and develops an effective"dispersing force"model for these interactions.[Result/Conclusion]This research highlights disparities in social resources,cultural capital,and emotional dynamics between Chinese and American think tanks in the in-ternational arena,and proposes a"dispersing force"model for CCG's communication with the United States with-in the framework of interactive ritual chain theory.Emphasizing the"communication forms","social symbols","international hot spots",and"destiny community",this model aims to foster"unity","symbol sharing","emo-tional resonance",and"moral consensus",thereby enhancing mutual trust,cooperation,and influence of think tanks on national security issues.关键词
